ABOUT ME & 60+ HOME PHYSIO

A little bit about me ...

Linda Jones – MSK Physiotherapy Technician
Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy & CMA
DBS checked & fully insured

Throughout my career in the NHS, I have worked closely with Orthopaedic Surgeons and Physiotherapists, supporting patients through their recovery journeys. I specialise in delivering tailored treatment programmes as a Physiotherapy Technician.

I understand how challenging it can be to achieve the best results when you are left alone to complete your exercise plan. It's hard to maintain the motivation that’s why I started 60+ home physio. I have seen too many patients fail to achieve a good recovery due to the lack of understanding oassistance when carrying out planned exercises at home.  My focus is on providing structured, supportive, and achievable exercise plans — helping you to build confidence, restore mobility, and improve your quality of life at an affordable price.

£45.00 for a 40 minute appointment   (payments made at the time of your appointment all cards accepted)

I offer a free no obligation assessment - this lasts approx - 40 minutes to 1 hour

Assisted Exercise Plans

RECOVERY EXERCISE PLAN - Carrying out an exercise plan set for you by your physiotherapist is hard, I know. A piece of paper and a videolink is simply not suitable for most people*

I can guide and support you through each movement, making sure your exercises are carrried out correctly, safely, ensuring your best outcome. *Exercises carried out incorrectly can make your condition worse, and at best, non-effective.

I can hep you with your exercise plan with guided physiotherapy, focusing on strength, balance, flexibility, and cardiovascular health to maintain independence and prevent falls. It is essential to consult a doctor before starting any exercise plan (other than a prescribed one).

Shoulder Mobility Specialist

I have see so many shoulder conditions/injuries and I know shoulders are notoriously difficult to repair.  With hands on treatment my approach is gentle, supportive, and always adapted to your individual needs — because I know every person’s journey to recovery is very different.

Shoulder physiotherapy involves stretching and strengthening exercises, manual therapy, and advice on movement to address shoulder pain and improve function. Treatments vary depending on the cause of the pain, which can range from frozen shoulder and rotator cuff injuries to general muscle weakness, requiring a tailored approach with exercises like pendulum swings, assisted flexion, and rotator cuff strengthening.

Knee Injury or replacement rehabilitaion

Don't overdo it: It's important to find the right balance of activity – not too much and not too little. Pushing too hard can slow your recovery.  Be a patient, patient. You will have your post-op

exercise plan. Recovery is a gradual process and everyone heals at their own pace. But with assisted rehabilitation in your own home progress can be managed to achieve a better outcome than doing it alone.

Balance is crucial!

Yes sadly we all lose our ability to balance as we get older. This is due to natural age related declines in muscle mass and strength, sensory systems (vision, inner ear, touch) neurological processing that are crucial for balance.

SO many visits to a hospital are due to falls in the home or community.

Let me help you with a programme of home exercises designed to prevent falls.

"As a physical therapist, helping my clients through difficult phases in their lives by supporting their recovery, is an immensely gratifying experience."
